The Panada Desktop Power Module is an on-desk power solution providing easy to access power sockets, TUF A+C USB ports and data connections. Developed off the back of the successful PolarICE desktop module, the power unit offers two snap-on decorative end-caps and socket frames with a more distinctive and more compact design. This design feature makes the Panada desktop power unit more attractive to suit the most demanding project requirements.
The best thing you can do for the environment is to buy something that will last a long time. Following the circular economy principle, the Panda Desktop Power Module is reliable and robust. Units are 100% tested before leaving the factory. Constructed from durable materials and featuring gold plated USB ports, the Type-A ports are manufactured for a minimum of 5000 insertions and the Type-C ports for a minimum of 10,000. But technology moves fast, and that means the Type-A USB port will be obsolete before the connector wears out. But never fear because: Panda modules are designed to be refurbished and upgraded. Obsolete of malfunctioning modules are sent back for repair, replace out-dated technology or re-use the materials to manufacture a new one. When you put a Panda Power Module in your office, you can be sure that future products will be designed with previous models in mind. Your purchase is future-proofed and upgradeable for many, many years to come.
But what then of that iMac charger that wouldn't fit? Panda Power Modules, the mounting brackets leave enough space to accept any plug… including a chunky iMac charger.
Available as standard with a white frame and black end caps and sockets for the high contrast glaring "Panda" look. Alternatively, white frames and end caps with grey sockets for the classic PolarICE look, or lastly the striking all-black unit.
For more fun and to add a bit of colour to your bland desktop, why not order the Panda-8 power module. The unit features a one-piece aluminium frame in one of our eight special paint colours with optional white sockets (UK BS1363 & TUF only). Specific RAL colours are available on request.
