Vantage Sideboard

The Vantage Sideboard is a hand-crafted executive credenza for boardrooms, executive offices and client suites. It's made from sustainable natural veneers and solid timber, with clean linear lines and a signature sculpted finger pull instead of handles. Choose from three base styles and two-, three- or four-door layouts, with soft-close hardware as standard. Add AV and IT integration, an integrated fridge or a glass top. Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

The William Hands Vantage Sideboard is an executive credenza built on the ideas William Hands is known for: architectural lines, considered proportions and refined signature details. It's designed for rooms where storage is on show: boardrooms, executive offices, client suites and reception areas, where every piece of furniture says something about the business.
Many office sideboards are designed to fade into the background. The Vantage is designed to be noticed. Its clean, linear shape and balanced proportions look as at home in a CEO's office as in a twelve-seat boardroom. Its practical storage, AV integration and soft-close hardware mean it works as hard as it looks.

Door and drawer configurations

The Vantage comes in three-door and drawer configurations, with two-, three- and four-door units available. You can match the storage to how the room is really used:
  • Doors for box files, catering supplies and AV equipment
  • Drawers for stationery, cables, remote controls and presentation kit
  • Doors and drawers combined for meeting rooms that need a bit of everything
Widths range from compact units for executive offices to long sideboards that span a boardroom wall, so it's easy to size the Vantage to your space.

Vantage Sideboard sizes

The Vantage is built around two door widths, which set the overall length of the sideboard:
  • 500 mm doors: 1,000 mm, 1,500 mm or 2,000 mm wide
  • 600 mm doors: 1,200 mm, 1,800 mm or 2,400 mm wide
All sizes are 500 mm deep and about 728–740 mm high, depending on the top. That puts the top at roughly desk height. It's the right height for serving refreshments and keeps the sideboard below a wall-mounted screen. As a rule of thumb, choose a sideboard about half to two-thirds the length of your boardroom table, and leave at least 1,000 mm between the sideboard and the backs of the chairs.

Every Vantage Sideboard is hand-crafted from sustainable natural veneers and solid timbers. Each is chosen for its grain and character and finished to a very high standard. Real wood veneer has a warmth and depth that printed finishes can't match, and no two sideboards are exactly alike.

Run your hand along the doors and you'll find the detail that sets the Vantage apart: the signature sculpted finger pull. There are no handles fixed on. Instead, the pull is shaped into the door itself. That keeps the front clean and gives you a comfortable, natural grip. It's a small detail, but it's the one people notice and remember.

Soft-close hinges and runners come as standard, so doors and drawers close quietly and smoothly. That matters in a meeting room, where a cupboard door banging shut can interrupt a presentation.

Three base styles to suit your interior

The Vantage comes with three base styles, so you can match the sideboard to the character of the room:

  • Slab panel base: end panels that run down to the floor, for a strong, architectural look that suits formal boardrooms.
  • Timber leg base: timber legs that raise the sideboard off the floor and give it a lighter look, well-suited to executive offices and client lounges.
  • Metal leg base: metal legs for a crisp, contemporary feel that goes well with glass-walled meeting rooms and modern office interiors.

Each base changes how heavy the sideboard looks, so think about the room as a whole. A slab base anchors a large boardroom, while a leg base keeps a smaller office feeling open and airy.

AV, IT and fridge integration

Modern meeting rooms run on technology, and the Vantage is designed for it. Every configuration can be set up for AV and IT, giving video conferencing equipment, network switches, soundbars and power supplies a tidy, hidden home. Cables can be routed out of sight, so the room stays clutter-free and the screen wall looks clean.

For client suites and boardrooms that host long meetings, the Vantage can also be ordered with an integrated fridge. Cold drinks are on hand without anyone leaving the room, and the fridge sits neatly inside the sideboard.
