Description
The Sharky Chair is a stylish and robust seating solution inspired by the lightness and strength of shark fins. The designers, Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher, used the concept of the fins to create the coupling elements between the structure and base of the Sharky chair. The result is a slimline, sinuous, yet very hard-wearing seat - this won the Sharky an Interior Innovation Award in 2015.
The Sharky chair and stool feature a high backrest, while the seat has a low backrest; all are available with wood legs or painted aluminium legs with visible welded details. The polyurethane seat shell is made even more comfortable with a padded seat or cushions, available in various colours. Adding a Lips cushion, designed for outdoor use, adds a touch of customization and extra comfort to the Sharky chairs.
