Prompt Pod

A quiet place to think out loud.

The Prompt Pod is a new kind of workplace furniture. It has a swivel seat and a curved surround screen that folds around you once you sit down. It isn’t a booth and it isn’t a room, and there is no door to close. It is a soft, semi-enclosed retreat inside the open plan. That makes it a natural spot for talking to your AI assistant, dictating notes, taking a quick call or simply stepping away from the noise for a few minutes.

Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

Speaking a prompt is often quicker than typing one. In a busy open-plan office, though, it can feel awkward. You become conscious of colleagues overhearing, they get distracted by your half of a conversation, and the moment loses its flow.
The Prompt Pod is made for this new way of working. It gives every member of the team somewhere to go when they need to think out loud without making a scene of it.

Separate without shutting yourself away

Most privacy solutions ask you to go behind a door. Phone booths and acoustic pods do that job very well, but they are built for full enclosure and require booking, space, and a deliberate decision to leave the floor. The Prompt Pod takes a lighter approach. It is a seat and a small work surface held inside a curved screen. When you sit and turn into it, the screen fills your peripheral vision and the room around you recedes. You feel apart from the room while still being part of it. You can still sense the office's energy, but you are no longer exposed to it.

How it works

  • Rotating seat: Swivel in to settle into focused, inward-facing work. Swivel out to rejoin the room. Moving between the two takes a second.
  • Wraparound screen: The tall, curved surround cuts out visual distraction and gives a clear sense of personal territory. It softens the immediate sound environment and helps your voice feel contained.
  • Integrated small table: There is room for a laptop, phone or notebook, so you can prompt, review and refine in one place.
  • Freestanding furniture: It needs no installation, ceiling connection, ventilation or power to the structure. You can place it, move it or reconfigure it as your floor plan changes.
