Kite Recycling Bin is a modular steel bin solution designed by Annica Doms. A Red Dot Design award winner for its innovative form, its many combinations will challenge your imagination and inspire your creativity.

The kite's unique shape allows it to hold angles of 60 °, 90 °, and 120 °, which makes it ideal for placing in corners with varying angles.

Description

The Kite Waste Bin is a geometric modular recycling bin that can be grouped in different constellations. Kite Bins can be used against a wall or as a free-standing accent in a room. The various combination possibilities will inspire your creativity and imagination. The optional lids come in eight designs with varying hole designs and screen-printed symbols for different types of waste. Available in eleven RAL colours with lids in two standard colours. The Kite Waste Bin holds 70 litres, adapted for waste bags of 85-125 litres.

Sustainability and materials

CO2 per unit 58.2 kg CO2 eq. The lid’s MDF meets the formaldehyde requirements E1 and TSCA Title VI / CARB2. MDF from certified forestry. The frame in powder-coated steel plate is manufactured in Sweden and consists of 20% recycled material. The steel is 100% recyclable. The powder coating of the frame is a good environmental choice, as no solvents are required.

Lid: Vacuum foiled MDF in white, anthracite or olive grey with screen printed symbol in grey. The lids are available in eight variants with a matching hole pattern.
