Fabric Care Instructions~

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

The HushFree.XS is Hushoffice's most compact acoustic phone booth — and the one that works hardest for open-plan offices where space is genuinely at a premium. At just 1060 x 900mm, it fits where other pods won't, yet delivers full Class A acoustic performance to ISO 23351-1:2020, providing complete speech privacy for calls, video meetings, and short, focused work sessions.

Inside, the HushFree.XS is purpose-built for performance. A standing-height ergonomic work shelf, face-illuminating LED side lights, and the HushAssistant touchscreen controller come as standard — making it one of the most fully specified soundproof phone booths available at this footprint. Built-in castors mean it can be repositioned anywhere in the office without disassembly or specialist installation, and no floor fixings are required.

GLASS DOOR WITH LATCH HANDLE: acoustic, tempered and laminated safety glass 10 mm, 5.5.2 thickness, including the 5 mm glass, 2 mm acoustic sheet and 5 mm glass. Anti-collision marking – silkscreen integrated inside the 65 mm wide glass. Transparent glass.

REAR SIDE GLASS PANELS: Acoustic and laminated glass 10 mm (RW= 34 dB), 5.5.2 thickness, including the 5 mm glass, 2 mm acoustic sheet and 5 mm glass. Placed in aluminium profiles with acoustic seal. Transparent glass.
Matte version as an option.

DOOR HANDLE AND HINGES: painted in cosmos grey. Handle dimensions: 45 x 221 mm.

CASE: 3-layer honeycomb board with a thickness of 38 mm. Both sides covered with melamine and finished with ABS edging. The structure is prepared for anti-seismic ground fixing.

HUSHDOOR.LIMITER: Door opening limiter. Mounted on the lower and upper hinge (2 pieces). After mounting, the acoustic cabin door opens to a maximum angle of 130 degrees. Made of black EPDM material with a hardness of 50° ShA.

TABLE TOP: measuring 750 x 344 mm, with a height of 1049 mm. Made of 18 mm thick plywood covered with HPL laminate on both sides.

PANEL WITH CEILING LIGHT: in cosmos grey. Total dimensions 190 x 640 mm, hole prepared for smoke detector diameter 20 mm, hole prepared for sprinkler installation diameter 65 mm.

INTERIOR PANELS: Made as a composite based on PETFELT, polyester fleece and fabric. PUR fire-retardant foam with acoustic properties, re bonded.

INTEGRAL CARPETED FLOOR: complies with ASTM D2859 – 16 (2021), standard test method for ignitability characteristics of ready-to-use textile floor covering materials. Adapted to commercial intensive use (hotel room, hotel suite, boutique, shop, restaurant, conference room, high traffic office, reception, stairs). Graphite colour.

HUSHASSISTANT: hushAssistant is a 4-inch (diameter 104 mm) round, high-resolution
touchscreen lighting and ventilation controller. Part of hushAssistant’s functionality is to manage and display meeting room availability. The system can be integrated with the Microsoft 365 Business platform.

BOOTH OCCUPANCY INDICATOR (optional): booth occupancy light indicator, measuring 96 x 96 x 37 mm, prepared to be integrated with the ventilation module power supply. Adapted to be positioned on the booth ceiling anywhere within 1000 mm of the fan housing. Actuated by a motion sensor.

The HushFree.XS comes fitted with HushAssistant — a 4-inch circular high-resolution touchscreen that puts full control of the pod's environment at the user's fingertips. Lighting intensity and fan speed can be adjusted in seconds, allowing each user to set the conditions that suit them, whether that's a brighter setup for a video call or a quieter, lower-lit space for focused thinking.Beyond environment control, HushAssistant displays real-time pod availability and supports room booking integration with Microsoft 365, making it straightforward to manage shared access across a busy office floor. Exceptional Acoustic Comfort

The HushFree.XS carries a Class A acoustic rating — the highest classification available under ISO 23351-1:2020, the international standard for office acoustic booths. In practice, this means conversations inside stay inside, and the noise of the open office stays out.

The fully upholstered interior panels use a composite of PETFELT, polyester fleece, and fire-retardant PUR foam to absorb sound at every surface. The door is toughened laminated acoustic safety glass — 10mm thick — and the rear glass panels carry an Rw of 34dB. Combined with a dedicated LED lighting system delivering 4000K daylight-balanced light at 500 lux at table level, the interior is tuned for clarity — reducing eye strain and keeping users sharp whether they're deep in a video call or working through notes between meetings.
