Hockey Shelving

The Hockey Shelving system is an innovative modular workspace room divider. It was created to help make use of open-plan workspaces where design, practicality, and sustainability are essential. Characterised by its sculptural warm timber framework, it brings a natural, inviting character into the workplace but also embodies the adaptable spirit of Kinzo Architects’ approach to design.

This modular shelving system offers a range of accessories, helping to create creative and flexible interior layouts. It's highly customisable to meet a wide range of workspace requirements, whether serving as open seating, forming a locker wall, adding a teapoint or making a striking impression in reception areas, or functioning as visual acoustic screens. Hockey Shelving responds intuitively to the evolving needs of modern offices, providing a solution that is as dynamic as the spaces it inhabits.

The system’s supports and frames are constructed from glued laminated wood using locally sourced spruce, ensuring a lower carbon footprint and complete recyclability. Crossbars can be installed quickly between the curved wooden supports without the need for tools, thanks to a simple knurled thumb screw mechanism. This allows for almost limitless configuration possibilities.
