Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

Seating that shapes the room

Contour from Davison Highley shapes a space as well as seating people. Its signature layered D-roll back gives each run a soft, sculptural profile. The modular system lets you plan the layout around your floor plan rather than fitting the furniture to the floor plan.

Single-sided units, back-to-back pieces and end units with sculpted corners all join through a linking system. This means Contour can run along a wall as a straight banquette or stand in the middle of a room as an island. It can also work as a seated divider between a breakout zone and the open-plan workspace. If your space changes later, the layout can be reconfigured with it.

Planters and power built in

Contour can be specified with integrated planters fitted into the front of the seating, which bring biophilic greenery into the workspace without taking up extra floor space. It is also compatible with power and data modules, so people can charge laptops and phones where they sit. This makes a breakout banquette usable as a working space for the whole day.

Feet or plinth: your choice of finish

Choose height-adjustable feet for a lighter look that is easy to level on uneven floors, or a plinth base for a grounded, built-in finish. Both options keep the clean lines that define the range.

Built to last

Under the upholstery, Contour has an FSC® WISA plywood frame. This is responsibly sourced, structurally strong plywood. The seat and back are made from engineered layers of CMHR (combustion-modified high-resilience) foam, which gives lasting comfort and holds its shape through years of daily use in busy commercial interiors.

Upholstered to your brand

Upholstery is available across Davison Highley’s fabric and faux leather bands, so you can match Contour to your colour palette and brand. Leather is available by quotation. Mix colours between seat and back, or between modules, to define zones or add accent tones.
