Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

Chemistry Plus takes everything offices valued in the original Chemistry range and builds on it. The biggest change is that height adjustability is now standard. Every position on the bench gets an electric height-adjustable steel frame. Users can switch between sitting and standing in seconds, with no cranks and no compromise between fixed and adjustable desks.

The changes also extend to how the desk looks across a whole floor. Chemistry Plus focuses on visual clarity: cables are routed out of sight, leg mechanisms are hidden behind an under-shroud, and optional wraparound screens tie each pair of workstations together. The result is a run of desks that looks calm and organised even at 4 pm on a busy Thursday.

Open-plan offices ask a lot of a desk. It has to support deep concentration, quick collaboration and a team that changes shape from one quarter to the next. Chemistry Plus handles all three:

Height on demand. The programmable LED switch lets each user set and recall their preferred sitting and standing heights, which is well-suited to hot-desking.
Safe movement. An anti-collision sensor stops the desk if it meets an obstruction while moving, protecting people, chairs and pedestals beneath it.
Stable on any floor. Levelling adjustment keeps long benches true on uneven office floors, so tops line up neatly from end to end.

Cable management that stays tidy

Height-adjustable desks have one common weak point: cables that stretch, tangle, or hang loose as the desk rises. Chemistry Plus handles this from the top down. Scalloped cable access in the 25mm MFC desktop feeds power and data directly from the work surface to the area below. The under shroud conceals cabling and frame details from view. Optional upper cable trays and cable risers then carry everything cleanly to the floor, regardless of each desk's height.

Can users save their preferred desk heights?

Yes. The programmable LED switch lets users store their preferred heights and quickly return to them, which helps in hot-desking offices where several people share one workstation.

What does the anti-collision sensor do?

It detects resistance while the desk is moving and stops it. This helps prevent damage to chairs, pedestals, windowsills or anything else in the desk’s path.

How does Chemistry Plus manage cables when the desk changes height?

Scalloped cable access feeds cables through the desktop, and the under shroud hides them below. Optional upper cable trays and cable risers then carry power and data to the floor without stretching or tangling as the desk moves.

Can I add screens to Chemistry Plus?
