The Kolo Solo Phone Booth solves that. A fully enclosed, single-user acoustic cabin, it gives your team an on-demand private space for phone calls, video meetings, and focused work — without booking a meeting room, without disturbing colleagues, and without leaving the floor. It’s not just a booth. It’s a quiet revolution sitting in the middle of your office.

The Kolo Solo is constructed around a robust aluminium frame and steel structure — two materials chosen for their strength, their longevity, and the clean industrial aesthetic they produce. This is not a flatpack privacy screen. It’s a permanent-feeling fixture that elevates any space it occupies.

Tempered safety glass panels — each fitted with an anti-shatter film — open the booth to its surroundings while keeping conversation inside. The door closes with a satisfying, considered weight. Available from stock in graphite, black, or white, the exterior finishes work with virtually any office interior.

Acoustic performance you can specify.

The Kolo Solo is rated at 28 dB speech level reduction to ISO 23351-1:2020 — the international standard for acoustic phone booths. In practice, that means conversations stay inside the booth. Outside, your colleagues carry on undisturbed.

The interior is lined throughout in grey acoustic PET felt, a high-performance sound-absorbing material that also gives the cabin its clean, considered finish. Every surface works. Nothing is decorative.

Lighting that adjusts to the user, not the other way around

Step inside and the lights come on. A PIR motion sensor activates the dimmable LED system the moment you enter — and powers it down when you leave. No switches. No wasted energy.

The LED system delivers up to 1,800 lumens at full brightness, with colour temperature adjustable from a warm 2,700K through to a cool, daylight-balanced 6,500K. Whether you’re on a morning call or a late video meeting, the light adapts to you.

The Kolo Solo is equipped with a purpose-designed airflow system — a silent, roof-mounted fan that draws in fresh air through floor-level vents in a continuous, passive cycle. The booth never feels stuffy. You never feel the urge to leave early.

The same PIR sensor that controls the lighting also automatically activates the ventilation. When the booth is empty, it powers down.

Comfortable enough to actually use

Every Kolo Solo ships with an adjustable Grace stool upholstered in Gabriel Medley Grey — a neutral, hard-wearing fabric that holds up to daily use. The HPL MDF shelf provides a compact, practical working surface at the right height for laptops and notebooks.

Levelling feet keep the booth rock-solid once positioned. When you need to move it, lower the feet to reveal the integrated castors and roll the booth across the floor. At 270 kg, it’s not light — but it moves when you need it to.
