Description

The se:café Soft Shell Chair is a fully upholstered, homely tub-style chair with a cosy, soft seat surface and a bevelled front-edge seat detail. The soft upholstery ensures hours of seating comfort, whether during sociable conversations in a relaxed working environment, in meetings and conferences, with the family, or as a comfy seat with friends. Available with or without armrests and with different leg frame variants, it allows users to sit comfortably and upright at the table.

Upholstery

  • The inner backrest upholstery, outer backrest upholstery and seat upholstery can be configured independently of each other
  • There may be variations between upholstery covers: colour combinations are possible within a fabric collection or leather and imitation leather covers can be combined with each other and with all fabric collections
  • Strict upholstery look (upholstery cover is tightly sewn)
  • Optionally, a casual upholstery look is available. Subtle folds and loose, soft upholstery on the inside of the backrest. Upholstery cover is sewn at the top and bottom. Folds rest freely on the upholstery.

  • Four-leg wooden frame: aluminium support, legs in beech or ash
  • Foot rail for soft stool: made of aluminium, for skid base and four-legged steel frame, matching the selected leg colour, for wooden frame, always black

Glides

  • Hybrid glides for skid base: load-dependent, braked glides: reduced frictional resistance in unloaded condition. Automatic anti-slip function when loaded, to stabilise the frame. Plastic glides The plastic surface is universally usable and particularly suitable for sensitive floor
  • Four-leg steel frame/four-leg wooden frame: plastic glides for soft floors, felt glides for hard floors

User weight

  • Skid base/four-leg steel frame: recommended for user weights up to 130 kg
  • Four-leg wooden frame: recommended for user weights up to 110 kg
