Hush Phone Booth

The Hush Phone Booth is a compact acoustic office phone booth that turns less than one square metre of floor space into a genuinely private space for calls and video meetings. Independently rated Class B under ISO 23351-1, it reduces ambient office noise by around 30 dB — enough to keep confidential conversations confidential and open-plan distractions outside. Fabric Care Instructions~

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

Open-plan working is brilliant for collaboration and terrible for phone calls. The Hush Phone Booth solves that with a single-person acoustic booth engineered by Hushoffice, one of Europe’s leading acoustic pod manufacturers. Acoustically lined upholstered panels, a laminated glass rear wall, and a tempered acoustic glass door work together to achieve Class B speech-level reduction under ISO 23351-1 — the international standard for measuring how effectively enclosed pods reduce the sound of a person speaking inside. In practice, that means around 30 dB of noise reduction: colleagues two metres away hear a murmur, not your quarterly figures.

The front and rear glass panels do more than manage sound. They flood the cabin with natural light and create a sense of space that belies the booth’s sub-1m² footprint, so users never feel boxed in — a common complaint with budget phone booths that rely on solid panels all round.

Inside, the cabin works harder than its size suggests. A cleverly concealed fold-down laptop table with a leather pull handle deploys in seconds for video calls or note-taking, while the ergonomic MDF support shelf holds files, a coffee and a mobile. A plush upholstered armrest keeps standing calls comfortable, and the optional integrated height-adjustable stool lets users settle in for longer conference calls.
