Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

What the Framery One is

The Framery One is a freestanding, soundproof pod for one person, made by the Finnish manufacturer Framery. It sits above a phone booth in both size and capability: where a booth is sized for a quick call, the One is a genuine workspace with an electric height-adjustable desk, dual-mode lighting engineered for video calls, and enough interior volume to sit and work in for a couple of hours without it feeling like a lift.

It needs no structural work. It arrives, it’s assembled on site, it plugs into a standard socket, and it can be relocated later if you add castors.

Engineered for video calls

The One was designed around video conferencing rather than having a camera bolted onto a quiet box.

Dual 4000K LED sources give two preset modes — one tuned for video, one for focused work. The video conference light is a dimmable panel set into the tech wall, casting a wide, even light across the user’s face at 90 CRI, so skin tones read naturally rather than washing out. Ceiling-mounted downlighting keeps the desk surface shadow-free. Both are adjustable from the touchscreen if you want to override the presets.

Smart controls and Framery Connect™

Everything inside is controlled from a single high-resolution touchscreen: lighting, ventilation, and the booking status of the pod.

An integrated 4G module means the pod is connected without touching your network or asking IT for anything — worth knowing if you’ve ever tried to get a piece of furniture onto a corporate WLAN. Framery Connect™ enables calendar integration with Google and Microsoft, so the pod can be reserved from a desk, books itself automatically when someone walks in, and prompts to extend a reservation from inside rather than making the user step out to check.

Connect also produces occupancy analytics. On a multi-pod rollout that data tells you where pods are actually being used and where they were placed wrong — which usually pays for itself by the second order.

An exterior occupancy light displays red with 360° visibility, so the floor knows the pod is in use.

Software updates arrive over the air automatically. A Framery One bought this year keeps gaining features.

Acoustics: what 30dB actually means

The Framery One holds an A-class rating under ISO 23351-1 with a speech level reduction of 30dB. That’s the top band of the standard.

In practice: a normal speaking voice inside the pod drops to roughly the level of background conversation outside it. Someone standing directly next to the pod won’t be able to follow what you’re saying. This is what makes it viable to place pods adjacent to workstations rather than banished to a corridor — which is the difference between pods that get used and pods that don’t.

The acoustic structure is patent-pending and tuned specifically to human speech frequencies rather than to broadband noise, which is why the ISO 23351-1 figure is the relevant one. Ventilation

Adaptive ventilation adjusts airflow to occupancy, delivering a full air change roughly every minute. An ultrasonic sensor detects entry and exit and adjusts lighting and airflow automatically — you don’t touch anything on the way in.

This matters more than it sounds. Stuffiness is the single most common complaint about pods in use, and it’s the reason underspecified pods sit empty after month three. Framery’s airflow figures exceed the standards in every market they sell into.

What is the dB rating of the Framery One Booth?

Is the Framery One completely soundproof?

No pod is completely soundproof, and any supplier claiming otherwise is overselling. What 30dB A-class means in practice is that a normal speaking voice inside drops to roughly background level outside — someone standing next to the pod won’t be able to follow your conversation. That’s the highest performance band the standard defines.

What is the difference between the Framery One and the Framery One Compact?

Both are one-person pods with the same 30dB A-class acoustic rating. The One is larger at 1220mm wide against the Compact’s 1030mm, and comes with an electric height-adjustable desk rather than a fixed shelf. Choose the One if people will work in it for extended periods; choose the Compact for short calls or where you need more units in the same floor area.

What is included in the Framery One Premium package?

Premium adds a height-adjustable seat, dual footrests, an activated carbon filter, and access to the full materials and finish range of over 3,000 combinations. The pod shell, acoustic rating, ventilation and smart controls are identical across both configurations.

Does the Framery One need building work or a power connection?

No building work. It’s freestanding, needs no fixing to the floor or structure, and runs from a standard socket. You’ll want to confirm ceiling height — the assembled operating height is 2400mm — and check lift and door access before delivery.

Can the Framery One be moved after installation?

Yes. With the optional castor kit it can be relocated within a floor plate fully assembled, without disassembly. For moves between floors or buildings it can be dismantled and rebuilt.

Is the Framery One fire safety compliant?

Yes. The full Framery smart pod range has been through certification and compliance programmes for fire, electrical and seismic safety. No fire-hazardous materials are used, and surface, upholstery and acoustic materials are tested and classified to national or international standards.

How does the calendar integration work?

Through Framery Connect™, the pod integrates with Google and Microsoft calendars. Staff can reserve it from their desk, or simply walk in — the pod creates the reservation automatically on entry. When the slot is running out, an on-screen prompt lets the user extend without leaving the pod. Connect also provides occupancy analytics across a multi-pod estate.

How much is the Framery One in the UK?

Pricing starts at £7,170 +VAT for the Standard configuration. Final cost depends on configuration, finishes, delivery location and installation requirements. We quote volume discounts on multi-unit orders — get in touch with your quantities.
