Terry is a modular banquette that bends. Five modules, straight, concave, convex, 90-degree and full circle, bolt together into runs of any length, so it can follow a wall, wrap a column, or ring a planter in the middle of a breakout space. Every section can be upholstered in a different fabric, with two-tone as standard. Designed and made in Britain by JDD on an FSC-certified spruce ply frame. Fabric Care Instructions

Felt and upholstery should be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, using mild cleaning agents. Dilute the cleaning agent with water according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and apply it to the soiled areas with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone, bleach or other solvents. In case of heavy contamination, use mild soap or a special upholstery cleaning agent. Avoid scratching, pressing, or rubbing the cleaned surface to prevent damage to its structure.

Metal Components

Wipe exterior walls and other metal components with a cloth dampened with a mild all-purpose cleaning agent. Do not use agents containing alcohol, acetone or other solvents. After cleaning, wipe all surfaces dry.

Glass

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass. Remove heavier contamination with liquid without ammonia.

System Furniture

Use a soft, dampened cloth for system furniture care. If soiling is heavy, soak the cloth in liquid or a mild furniture cleaning agent. Any whiteboard should be cleaned regularly with a special dry-erase cleaner, at least once a week or more often, depending on how often it is used.

Lighting
Hanging lamps and LED lighting should be wiped with a dry cloth, taking special care to avoid accidental damage or scratching.

A banquette that goes where the room goes

Most banquette seating is a straight line against a wall. That’s fine in a canteen and useless in the middle of a breakout floor, where the interesting spaces are the ones nothing quite fits: the column, the planter, the awkward curve by the stairs. Terry was drawn to fit those. It is a modular bubble banquette made in Britain by JDD, built from five shapes that bolt together on-site into any run you can sketch, and every section can be upholstered in a different fabric.

The result is seating that reads as a piece of the architecture rather than a sofa parked in a corner. Run it straight along a wall, curve it around a tree in a planter, close it into a full circle for a meeting island, or snake it across an open floor to break a long room into smaller ones.

Five modules, any length

Terry is built from straight, concave, convex, 90-degree and circle sections. Straight runs handle walls and corridors. Concave and convex sections turn the run without a corner, so a bench can ease round a column or follow a curved glass wall. The 90-degree module does the sharp turn for an alcove or a booth. The circle closes a run into an island, with or without a planter or table in the middle.

Runs are priced per metre and manufactured to the length you need, delivered in sections of up to 2 m and bolted together during installation. The back is fully upholstered even on sections that will sit against a wall, so a run can be moved into an open floor later without showing an unfinished side. Standard height is 750 mm; other heights are available on request.

Terry with plants

Terry is at its best when there is something growing in the middle of it. The concave and circle modules are drawn to wrap a planter or a tree pit, and straight runs can be lined with planters along the back to make a green partition between teams. Fabric by the section, not by the sofa

Because each module is upholstered separately, the colour scheme is yours to compose. Two-tone upholstery is included as standard. Beyond that, JDD will upholster any section in any fabric you specify: a single colour for a corporate reception, a gradient that shifts along a run, or a full palette across a breakout floor. Wool and wool-viscose blends give the deepest colour and the best wear; leather suits reception and client-facing areas; wipe-clean options make sense in canteens. Yes. Because runs are bolted modules rather than a fixed built-in, they can be unbolted, rearranged and re-upholstered when the floor plan changes.
