A sit-stand bench desk combines bench desking — rows of connected workstations sharing legs and cable management — with height adjustment, allowing each user to independently raise or lower their own work surface. You get the space and cost efficiency of bench desks with the ergonomic benefits of standing desks.

What’s the difference between electric, crank and fixed-height desks?

Electric desks adjust at the touch of a button — typically across a range of around 650–1250mm — and suit users who change position often. Crank (manual) desks adjust by handle, cost less, and suit positions that are set once per user. Fixed-height desks don’t adjust but can share the same bench frame, letting you mix all three across one bank.

Can I mix sit-stand and fixed desks in the same bench?
