The Senator Ricco Mesh Chair is the product of one discipline above all others: reduction. Studio Ballendat stripped the task chair back to its essentials and arrived at something singular — a chair that emerges from a single, sweeping form, visually and physically lightweight yet engineered to perform throughout a full working day.
It is not a chair you simply occupy. Ricco invites contact. The materials, the movement, the tactile quality of the mesh — all of it is deliberate.

At the core of Ricco's ergonomic performance is Pivot-tec® — Senator's proprietary engineering solution that identifies three key pivot points within the chair's structure. The result is a fully integrated, weight-activated, synchronised recline that responds to the user's body without any manual intervention.
Unlike conventional mechanisms that require tension dials or adjustment knobs, Pivot-tec® adapts automatically. The recline ratio sits at 3.5:1 — back to seat — across an 18° range, delivering natural, supportive movement that follows the spine rather than constraining it. It is the right posture, instinctively.
